- Purchasing paper products from sustainable sources, with consideration given to the environmental impacts associated with their production.
- Offering more environmentally conscious cleaning solutions, including products manufactured using naturally occurring ingredients such as citrus-based acids.
- Promoting concentrated cleaning products, where appropriate, which can help reduce packaging requirements and the volume and weight of products transported.
- Promoting containers manufactured from recycled plastics.
- Offering recycled and biodegradable waste sacks as alternatives where appropriate.
Helping Customers Reduce Chemical Use
Sustainability isn't only about choosing a different product. Sometimes the most sustainable approach is to use less product in the first place.
We work in partnership with our customers to provide education and practical advice on cleaning methods that can help reduce unnecessary chemical use.
This includes promoting the use of pH-neutral solutions and microfibre technology, where appropriate, to help businesses review and optimise their cleaning programmes.
By combining the right products with effective cleaning techniques, training and education, we aim to help our customers achieve the required hygiene standards while reducing unnecessary chemical consumption.
Reducing Packaging and Waste
We also consider the environmental impact of packaging throughout our operations.
Where possible, we:
- Re-use incoming packaging materials.
- Return packaging materials where suitable arrangements are available.
- Recycle packaging materials that cannot be re-used or returned.
- Promote the use of recycled plastic containers.
