1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- Company means MG Hygiene and Cleaning Supplies Limited.
- Customer means any individual, business, or organisation purchasing goods or services from the Company.
- Contract means any agreement between the Company and the Customer for the sale or supply of goods and/or services.
- Goods means all products, equipment, materials, components, or services supplied by the Company under a Contract.
2. Pricing
2.1 Prices
All prices displayed on our website are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are additional unless specifically stated otherwise and will be shown at checkout.
2.3 Promotional Offers
Promotional prices, discounts, and special offers are available for limited periods only and may be amended or withdrawn at the Company's discretion without prior notice.
2.4 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to amend prices, product specifications, and product availability at any time.
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery Service
MG Hygiene currently delivers throughout Ireland.
3.2 Delivery Times
- Orders placed before 2:00pm are generally processed for next working day delivery where stock is available.
- While every effort is made to meet estimated delivery times, customers should allow 2–3 working days for delivery.
3.3 Free Delivery
Free delivery is available on orders with a value exceeding €150.00 plus VAT.
3.4 Delivery Availability
Delivery services are subject to stock availability, courier schedules, weather conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment in Advance
Unless a credit account has been approved, payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched.
4.2 Accepted Payment Methods
Credit and Debit Cards
We accept most major credit and debit cards through our secure online payment system. No additional processing fees apply.
Bank Transfer
Payment by bank transfer may be accepted where agreed in advance. Goods will be dispatched once cleared funds have been received.
Cheque Payments
Cheques should be made payable to MG Hygiene and Cleaning Supplies Limited. Orders will be processed once payment has cleared.
4.3 Credit Accounts
Business customers may apply for a credit account. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Company and may be subject to references and credit checks.
Approved credit accounts are strictly payable within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4 Late Payment
Where payment is not received within agreed terms, MG Hygiene reserves the right to:
- Suspend further deliveries.
- Withdraw credit facilities.
- Charge administrative and collection fees.
- Charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with applicable legislation.
5. Delivery, Risk and Title
5.1 Risk
Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery to the specified delivery address or upon collection by the Customer or their appointed carrier.
5.2 Delivery Dates
Any delivery dates provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
5.3 Delays
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from delays in delivery outside of its reasonable control.
5.4 Retention of Title
Ownership of goods shall remain with MG Hygiene until payment has been received in full and cleared funds have been processed.
6. Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
6.1 Notification Requirements
Customers must inspect all goods upon delivery.
Any missing items, damaged goods, delivery shortages, or incorrect products must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
6.2 Resolution
Upon verification of a valid claim, MG Hygiene will, at its discretion:
- Replace the affected goods;
- Provide a credit; or
- Issue a refund where appropriate.
6.3 Manufacturer Warranty
Products supplied with a manufacturer's warranty may, where applicable, be supported directly by the manufacturer. Customers may be required to follow the manufacturer's warranty procedures.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 General
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7.2 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability in connection with any order or Contract shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied under that Contract.
7.3 Time Limit for Claims
Any claim against the Company must be notified and commenced within 12 months of the event giving rise to the claim.
7.4 Indirect Losses
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, business, or goodwill.
8. Force Majeure
MG Hygiene shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters;
- Fire or explosion;
- Severe weather;
- Epidemics or pandemics;
- Industrial disputes;
- Transport disruptions;
- Power or utility failures;
- Government restrictions or regulations;
- War, civil unrest, or acts of terrorism.
Where such circumstances occur, the time for performance shall be extended accordingly.
9. Cancellations and Order Amendments
9.1 Order Cancellations
Requests to cancel or amend an order must be submitted in writing and are subject to acceptance by the Company.
9.2 Costs Incurred
Where goods have already been ordered, prepared, customised, dispatched, or delivered, MG Hygiene reserves the right to recover any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.
10. Product Information
10.1 Accuracy of Information
We endeavour to ensure that all product descriptions, images, specifications, dimensions, weights, and technical information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, such information is provided for guidance only and may be amended without notice.
10.2 Product Images
Product photographs are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product supplied.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content, including but not limited to:
- Text;
- Images;
- Logos;
- Product information;
- Drawings;
- Designs;
- Documentation; and
- Technical data,
remains the property of MG Hygiene and Cleaning Supplies Limited or its licensors.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, or used without prior written consent.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
